This feature documentary chronicles the extreme adventures of a band of unique adventurers who re-enacted LaSalle’s expedition, paddling and portaging over 3,500 miles with 30-foot replica canoes from Montreal through the Great Lakes to New Orleans. At the center of the film is Chicago canoeing legend Ralph Frese, whose life-long obsession can inspire others from different walks of life to follow their dreams.
